Liz organized with community groups, planned a rover build in SF, and described the robotics program arriving in Detroit.

Liz spent the week organizing with the many community organizers in the Multiverse and asked anyone running an existing community to get in touch. She also pointed people without one toward groups that already exist.

The robotics program was set to land in Detroit within two weeks, and there was an in-person rover build in San Francisco. The call for robot builders sought learners, resource contributors, people with robot skills, and funding.

Prompt Engineering moved another week out with a revamped curriculum. AI Alignment paused and will rerun in December, open to all members.

Well Multiverse Crew-

That sucked. I know a lot of people are scared, and anxious, and planning, and changing everything about their lives. Many people in the Multiverse have reported moving transition timelines and cancelling long-awaited doctor's appointments. Others are planning to move with their young children to a place that's safe for their families to continue to exist. Folks are afraid due to visa situations, their physical safety, pregnancy status, the list goes on. It is heart-wrenching.

I am furiously organizing, trying to do what I can. Many of us here are organizers ourselves, I count dozens of representatives who speak for hundreds, if not thousands of people. We are assembling, contact me if you organize an existing community. If you don't have one but you feel the need to start one- no you don't, you need to find one that exists. Get in contact if you need help with this.

For my emotional health I am trying to keep moving. If I just spend all of my downtime from founding a school and founding a second, secret thing, either crisis organizing or doing combat training, I won't have any time to feel the other feelings. That always works perfectly, forever, with no consequences! I'm fine 🔥🐶🏚️🔥.

In personal news, my kid got married. The tall genderfluid one with the facial hair is the one I made myself, the nice lady in the pretty dress is the new daughter I get to hopefully keep, she has for some reason volunteered to look after my offspring for me and can even get them to do the dishes and hold down a job, so we like her. She likes cars, let me know if anyone is down to train her to do something with cars in DFW? She would love that.

In program news, while everyone was finding out we live in the bad place, we were literally seizing the means of production. In two weeks the stuff I have told some of you about (if you're in class) is going to land in Detroit. Are you in SF? Come build a rover with us!. We'll announce more dates and tell people stuff in person we won't spoil online. Y'all. It is very exciting. We're gonna do some very good stuff with these 🦾.

Stripe informs me I made 70k in revenue (only 50k in profit, 10k of which went to other teachers) from the Multiverse School this year which is "extremely low income" in San Francisco so I have to take these corporate gigs whenever they come my way. Wanna help out? You could buy a membership. Yes I have exited a lot of times, but I spent it on the aforementioned child, being a single mom isn't free and now that they're an adult they want more cash than ever before.

Roughly 50% of the research team is on scholarship, and 80% of the research team is trans, so I could use some help and so could the rest of us. If you get one and you don't use it I'll just consider it a scholarship and let in someone from the scholarship request list.

We moved The Next Prompt Engineering one more week out so as not to start on a break week. Remember, it's at 5pm pacific, 8pm eastern. We've revamped the program with the most recent prompt engineering stuff, and this is the last time we'll have it at this price, since we doubled the length we're tripling the cost in 2025 because we can't run as many in a year.

We also paused and are going to restart and rerun the AI Alignment class that began recently. There are 3 participants, and it's still really important, so this class is now open to all members of any membership level. We'll begin the first week of December.

Next week is a break week. I have a corporate client so I will be out Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and Monday is Veteran's Day in the US, so that's the week.
