New year, new server, daily standup

Solarpunk Standup Begins

A new year, a new chat server, a Solarpunk Singularity Standup, a split Job Search and BrandUp standup, and a pile of new YouTube videos.

The first issue of 2025 opened with a call to get serious. A new chat server went live in the student dashboard, with sign-up tokens emailed to students, and Gather Town was being migrated to a new space.

Monday began with the Solarpunk Singularity Standup at 8am Pacific, where people set priorities and committed to each other on what they would get done. Job Search Standup returned and split into two groups: Job Search with Liz for career counseling and applying, and BrandUp with Chris for resumes, websites and socials.

Swarm Architecture was building a swarm of agents that reads the news and files it into briefings. No-Code AI and Low-Code AI were announced for the following week. Liz also listed a batch of new YouTube videos, including Voice Clone Defense, How to build an Agent and Threat Modeling PRISM, plus 35 shorts.

1/5/2025 Multiverse Report

Welcome back to Earth, season 12,025! It's time to get serious about everything. It's a new year, and I know you have a lot of resolutions and ideas and dreams and thoughts. We spent December dreaming about a new world and looking at the possibility space. Now, let's get real with ourselves and get to work. Roll up your sleeves. We're making progress every day.

We have a new chat server. It'll be in your student dashboard and you should have received an email with a token to sign up. Gather Town will be switching over to a new space as soon as I get it migrated with the help of Gathertown support.

If you're joining us for Standup (all membership levels), on Monday, we'll kick things off with the Solarpunk Singularity Standup at 8:00am Pacific. We're going to literally spend time building the new world by prioritizing our efforts and committing to each other what we're going to get done. Accountability is key, and this is how you can show the Multiverse Crew you are absolutely serious about changing the world. Be there, or be taken less seriously. Seriously.

Job Search Standup is back, because we're still in the old world and they won't give you food or housing without cash here in the "land of the free". We're splitting into two groups so we can stay focused- BrandUp Standup and Job Search Standup. If you need career counseling or you are ready to apply you'll go to Job Search Standup. If you're working on your resume, your website, your socials, etc- go to the BrandUp Standup. You should switch each week so that you can iterate on both and not exhaust yourself. Start with the one you need more so you get 2 of that session in a month instead of just one.

We've got Swarm Architecture using Autogen on Monday, so if you want to learn to build Artificial Superintelligence, we've got that on deck. In this class, we'll create a swarm of agents who will read the news for you and let you know if anything important is happening, but will otherwise file things into weekly or monthly briefings on different topics. You need to have taken Prompt Engineering or you'll struggle to keep up.

Next week we're launching No-Code AI and Low-Code AI, two gentle entrypoints into AI, and we'll announce the next Prompt Engineering cohort.
